Gunaketu has an MSc in organizational development and business ethics from the Manchester University School of Management. To further develop his skills in bringing out the best in people he trained as a psychotherapist and a supervisor to psychotherapists.

Gunaketu has previously been an officer in the Norwegian Army, lived in celibacy in a Buddhist community, worked as a shop manager and held various positions in the Public- and Third Sector.

Today Gunaketu works as a business consultant in the Private, Public and Third sector. A recent project has been to develop and a training program for Avinor – the Aviation authorities in Norway.

Gunaketu has also published a novel and several articles on psychotherapy, and specializes in Buddhist studies and mindfulness practices. He is a certified MBTI & JTI consultant.

Gunaketu is fluent in English and Norwegian and speaks basic French.
