Michael-John Bristow

Consultant/Lead Trainer

Michael-John Bristow is a consultant and the Lead Trainer at Targeted Learning. His international experience and dynamic speaking style make him a highly regarded trainer and speaker. His clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Boeing and ConocoPhillips. He has also been a keynote speaker at several professional conferences for scientists, managers and engineers. Michael-John has a BS degree in Neuroscience and began his career as a trainer at Kaplan, the world’s largest test preparation company. At Kaplan he helped students prepare for graduate school tests such as the MCAT and GMAT. He was also responsible for the training and development of Kaplan’s instructors in Utah.

Michael-John speaks on a variety of topics, including leadership, influencing others, presentation skills, feedback, coaching and career management. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is the coauthor of Where’s the Gift?, Targeted Learning’s best-selling book about finding the gift in all feedback. He has also coauthored several professional development guides and workshops created by Targeted Learning.

Michael-John lives in Utah with his wife and daughter.
